As adults, there are many decisions we make which have a profound impact on how we live your lives. 

As a child of God (a Christian), we need to remember who we are and act accordingly.  Everything we do should bring honor to our Heavenly Father, not dishonor.

We shouldn't always choose the easy path in life.  What we should do, however, is choose the best path (the path that God would have us walk.)  If we do, we will experience an abundant and rewarding life.  Things won't always be easy, but life will be very rewarding.  And in the end, we won't look back and say, "If only!"

God has said this:

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." ¹
