The Bible tells us that in heaven, Christ Jesus will reward us, or not, for how we lived our lives upon the earth as a child of God. (2 Corinthians 5:10)  Our deeds will be tested by the Word of God, which is likened unto fire, and things of lasting value will be rewarded. (Jeremiah 23:29; 1 Corinthians 3:10-15)  Those who faithfully serve the Lord Christ Jesus, will hear the words "Well done, good servant!" and will be rewarded for their faithful service with even more responsibility. (Luke 19: 11-26)  With Christ Jesus as supreme sovereign over all, we, His Church, will also reign with Him upon the earth at His second coming. (Revelation 5:10); the Church will judge the world. (1 Corinthians 6:2)
