Is it OK for a husband, or wife, to be sexually involved with someone other than their spouse when both the husband and wife agree that it's OK?

The answer to the question, "Is it OK for a husband, or wife, to be sexually involved with someone other than their spouse when both the husband and wife agree that it’s OK?" is no.

Adultery is defined by Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary as "voluntary sexual intercourse between a married man and someone other than his wife or between a married woman and someone other than her husband."  Of those who live a life of adultery, the Bible says, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."1

It might have been that one of God's children lived this sort of life prior to becoming a child of God, however, when one truly turns to God in repentance through faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior, God brings them out of this.2
