Although the Bible doesn't say that gambling is a sin; before we choose to walk down this path in life, we should ask ourselves the question "Although it's permissible, is it beneficial; is it constructive?"

Many have been caught up in gambling who couldn't afford to lose the money, and because of this, they, along with their families, have suffered.  Gambling has a way of appealing to the greed within our sinful nature, and a way of leading us down a path to destruction.

Gambling is also contrary to the biblical principle of hard work as the way of supplying for our needs; as well as the needs of our family.
