Those who comprise the Christian Church have a unique relationship with God. In "Old Testament Days," days before the Christian Church, God the Holy Spirit would anoint certain individuals (such as prophets, priests and kings, etc.) at certain times, for certain purposes. At some point, however, He would leave them. Today, all who comprise the Christian Church are likewise anointed by God the Holy Spirit, but, unlike days of old, He abides with us forever. 1
