The great tribulation will be marked by ugly, agonizing, painful sores breaking out upon all who took the mark of the Antichrist.
At the close of the time of great tribulation, the Lord Christ Jesus (the King of kings and Lord of lords) will return to earth with power and great glory (the Christian Church and the angels of God will, also, be with Him.) 1 He will return to the Mount of Olives just outside of Jerusalem and the armies that have surrounded Jerusalem will be destroyed completely at the battle of Armageddon. 2
Also, at that time, the Antichrist and the head of the apostate church will be captured and both will be cast alive into the lake of burning sulfur (Satan will be bound in the Abyss for a thousand years.)
